Varsity Coach - Jeff Driggs

 

The Christopher High School Golf Team would like to welcome Coach Jeff Driggs into his new role as Varsity Head Coach starting the 2019 season. Coach Jeff Driggs began volunteering his time to help the team in 2012.  He has continued to volunteer his time even after his son has graduated and moved on to college at Cal State Monterey Bay. Jeff grew up in Santa Clara and attended Buchser High School. Jeff lettered in football, basketball, and baseball.  He attended West Valley College and began working for the City of Santa Clara in 1977 where he remain employed until retiring in 2011 as the Recreation Supervisor.  Jeff spent 33 years in the Parks and Recreation field during his career.  Jeff and his wife have 2 daughters and 1 son, and his wife, Kristin, is a middle school teacher at Solorsano Middle School in Gilroy.  Jeff spends much of his time now on the golf course as a member at Eagle Ridge, enjoying his retired life.

 

Assistant Coach- Jim Haas 

 

Jim lettered in varsity golf at Hadley High School, South Hadley, Ma, 1970-1974. Jim continued competitive golf at Holyoke Community College 1974-1976. He earned his BA from Westfield State College in 1985. A life long golfer, Jim is excited about coaching at CHS. Jim retired from the State of California after a career as a parole agent. Jim has two daughters who are graduates of Gilroy High Schools, Alexandra,  Gilroy High, Class of 2008, and Sarah, CHS Class of 2013.
