Frequently Asked Questions:
-
Do I have to take a tuxedo or drape photo? YES, this is the photo that will go into the yearbook. Students may select which outfit they wish to wear.
-
What do I wear to my session? You may wear whatever you want, the school and Lifetouch will provide the tuxedo, drape and cap and gown for the photos. If you purchased additional outfits you will need to bring clothes that you like or your athletic/other uniforms. Please be sure to bring your own props for this as we will not have any athletic equipment or other regalia for you to use.
-
How long will my session take? If you are taking a single photo just for the yearbook it can be as quick as 5 minutes. However, for the basic session I would estimate 30-45 minutes, for the standard session I would estimate 45-60 minutes, for the deluxe session I would estimate 60-90 minutes and for the ultimate I would estimate 90-120 minutes. These times are estimates and may be longer or shorter depending on the number of poses that day.
-
By what date do I need to select a pose for the yearbook? The deadline to select a photo is Friday November 1, 2024. This will be done online. Photos will be available approximately two weeks after the photos were taken. The directions on selecting a senior portrait are below. If you do not select a photo, I will select one.
-
Do I need to order photos from Lifetouch? Lifetouch is the official photographer for Christopher High School and their photos are the ones that are used in the yearbook, but there is no obligation to buy from them and you may take other senior photos with other photographers, but they cannot be used in the senior portrait section of the yearbook.
-
What if I can't make it to one of the summer dates? You can also schedule an appointment at the San Jose studio at 1375 Blossom Hill Rd #64, San Jose, CA 95118. -
What is the last day I can take a senior portrait for it to be in the 2025 Christopher High School yearbook? The last day to take a portrait is Friday October 18, 2024.
-
If I don't like my photos can I retake them? Yes, you will need to schedule a studio appointment for that at the San Jose studio at 1375 Blossom Hill Rd #64, San Jose, CA 95118. Their hours of operation are Tuesday - Saturday 10:00-5:00. To do schedule a studio appointment you can either visit https://local.prestigeportraits.com/ca/san-jose/1375-blossom-hill-rd.html and schedule an appointment there, email Byterritory@lifetouch.com or call 877-825-7922. -
I don't see all the dates as options for senior portraits, how come? We have initially opened the first two dates for photography as those dates fill up we will release more slots and days as needed. We have had times where we have no students for hours and are trying to avoid that this year.
-
What do I do if they cannot find my name in the appointment scheduler? This might happen if you are a new student, an early graduate, a transfer student, a VLA student or a MMHS student. I apologize for the inconvenience, but please contact Lifetouch at visit https://local.prestigeportraits.com/ca/san-jose/1375-blossom-hill-rd.html and schedule an appointment there, email Byterritory@lifetouch.com or call 877-825-7922.
